Any person or business that owns a boat used for business or pleasure can apply for a Greek registration.

We need the following documents to apply for your boat registration:

  • A copy of your passport
  • A notarized copy of notarized bill of sale
  • A copy of builder’s certificate
  • A copy of insurance certificate
  • Evidence of the payment of taxes/Tonnage taxes
  • Boat technical data
  • A list of crew members along with their qualification

The documents can be accepted in Greek language. However, in case of any other language we will take care of the sworn translation.

Yes. The registration certificate is printed out on paper along with the data and the picture of the boat.

Depending on the kind of yacht and its intended use, different inspection standards will be applicable.

Please supply us the details of the boat technical data, a notarized bill of sale, certificate of boat insurance and the details of all the equipments installed onboard (Brand, type of the device, serial numbers).
